Now that we have had a few weeks to get used to the new training year, let's get going shall we?
First off, please find attached the minutes from the last Parent Meeting in May. We will have our first Parent Meeting of the year this coming Tuesday, 11 October in the Lounge in Shepard Hall. We will begin the meeting at 6:30pm SHARP.
Second we have two fundraising items that are starting nearly immediately. Bacon is back! The bacon is Maplewood smoked and comes cooled in 5 kg boxes. The cost this year is $80/box. NEW this year, we will also have breaded chicken strips for $70/4 kg box, You can start taking orders now (BACON - CHICKEN). Orders will be collected on Tuesday 1 November. Any orders not turned in on that day will not be accepted after the fact. Orders will be ready for pick up on Tuesday, 15 November at the Hall.
What are Cash Calendars? They are a calendar and 68 raffle tickets all in one! $20 will get you entered into $40, 000 worth of draws! These make great Christmas gifts, especially if your recipient wins! 50% of our total calendar sales comes back to the squadron so that we are able to support our cadets. Cash Calendars can be picked up starting on Tuesday 11 October between 6:30 and 8pm at the Hall. All ticket stubs and monies MUST be returned no later than 10 January 2023.
