Battle of Britain - Mandatory Citizenship Event for all Level 2+

*UPDATE* Level 1 (New Cadets) are not required to participate. They may attend if they so choose.

83 Juno Beach Cadets are invited to participate in a Battle of Britain ceremony at The Military Museum on Sunday, September 17. This memorial service honours Canadians who fought in the historical Battle of Britain, the first major battle fought exclusively in the air. The event also commemorates all the heroes who served during the Second World War.

EVENT DETAILS 

  • Date: 17 September 2023 

  • Time:

    • 1245 hrs Cadet Arrival 

    • 1530 hrs Cadet Dismissal 

  • Location: The Military Museum (4520 Crowchild Trail SW)

  • Dress: C-1 (Full uniform with medals) 

    • Cadets with no uniform should wear business formal 

  • Parents & Guests are welcomed to stay for the ceremony

  • Cake and juice provided for cadets after ceremony

***IF A PARENT/GUARDIAN IS NOT STAYING FOR THE CEREMONY, PLEASE BE SURE YOUR CADET CAN CONTACT YOU FOR A RIDE HOME IN THE EVENT THE CEREMONY TIMES CHANGE.
